This is the view from our balcony to the right. The airport is across Simpson Bay. The breakwater has a cement jetty with lamposts, which surprising held during the hurricane. The globes on the lamposts were removed prior to the hurricane. Only three lamposts were destroyed! The white seawall, at the lower left, was destroyed on the second day by Lenny. You can see chunks of the seawall on the walkway.
