In the summer of 1999 we drove our RV west to Seattle via the northern part
of the United States. We visited with friends in Michigan as we headed west
on route 2 and 20 from Michigan to Washington. We stopped at Lewis and Clark
Interpretative Centers that document the Corps of Discovery expedition in North
Dakota and Oregon. We
enjoyed many beautiful sights including the Medora
in North Dakota, the Calgary Stampede,
Waterton International Peace Park,
Glacier National Park, and the
Cascade mountains through the northern part of the State of Washington. We spend
several weeks visiting with family in Seattle.
Our return trip from Seattle took us along the coast of Oregon and California stopping to see friends in San Jose and Sacramento. We continued east enjoying Las Vegas, Lake Mead, Meteor Crater, Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos, and Branson Missouri.
